The file is a collection of paleo-proxies from the NE Mediterranean. The data are exclusively from cores from deep sea basins (ODP cores) and geological sections in Cyprus and relate to targeted periods of geological time: 1. Pliocene Warm Period (PWP): the high CO2 paleo-analogue of the "warm Pliocene" (5.3-3.0 million years) 2. Miocene Climatic Optimum (MCO): the Miocene Climate Optimum (14.7-17 million years).
