Selected building characteristics in the town of Mandra

Description
The dataset can be used to assess the spatial distribution of vulnerability of the urban fabric to floods based on individual specific characteristics that are statistically associated with vulnerability including underground garage ramps (UGR), light wells (LW), the construction material (MATERIAL), the presence of pilotis (PLT), the number of adjoining buildings on the side of each building (ADJ). The above are part of the geodatabase (attribute table) that accompanies the shapefile. The projection is Hellenic Geodetic Reference System 1987.
In specific, the presence of certain elements was recorded for each structure studied through field survey. All these elements were connected to the probability of a building experiencing internal flooding (as described by Diakakis et al. 2017) through statistically significant relationships.
