Measurements of atmospheric and oceanographic variables (wind speed and direction, relative humidity, dew point, atmospheric pressure and temperature, sea temperature, pressure and salinity) were collected from the Kalloni Bay mooring (26.2084, 39.1677) in Lesvos Island. Samples for phytoplankton pigments in the water column were selected at 3 discrete points/stations in the Cretan Sea, during an oceanographic cruise conducted in April 2025 under the CLIMPACT project. Data include phytoplankton pigments analyses from 6 discrete depths at each station. Samples were taken with Niskin bottles and initially processed on board, while finally processed and analysed via HPLC method at HCMR Crete.

The dataset includes daily meteorological parameters for the period 2010-2025 from 54 meteorological stations. You can see visualizations of the data from these stations on the page https://www.meteo.gr/climate/
The parameters are temperature (°C), relative humidity (%), pressure (hPa), rainfall (mm), wind speed (km/h), dominant wind direction, and wind gust (km/h).
