-The file «EKPA_modern environment_biometry» is a collection of coccolithophore biometric data from the modern marine environment of the NE Mediterranean Sea. The data are from water column samplings and sediment traps. The file contains different sheets based on the code/name of each dataset (location-type of sampling). Each sheet contains the necessary information for each different dataset and the available biometric data for the species Emiliania huxleyi: coccosphere diameter, coccolith length-CL, coccolith width-CW, tube length, tube width-TW, Relative tube width-RTW, estimated coccolith mass, element number, element width, relative element width -The file «EKPA_modern environment_bioproxies» is a collection of coccolithophore abundance and fluxes from the modern marine environment of the NE Mediterranean Sea. The data are from water column samplings and sediment traps. The file contains different sheets based on the code/name of each dataset (location-type of sampling). Each sheet contains the necessary information for each different dataset and the available data of fluxes, absolute and relative abundance of the assemblage. -The file «EKPA_2kyr_bioproxies and biometry» is a collection of paleo-proxies from the NE Mediterranean. The data are from core from sea basins and are related to the last 2 kyrs. The file contains different sheets based on the name of each proxy. Each sheet includes the necessary information for the included study and the available paleo-climatic proxies • Paleoclimatic bioindices of planktonic microorganisms (calcareous nannofossils) • Biometry on calcareous nannofossils
